What in the world is going on?! I still wonder every time I turn on the TV, or my computer, or my smart phone… Is it just me, or does it feel like the world is upside down?

What in the world is going on?!

And what do we do about it?

And where is God in all of this? God, are you still there? What should be our response as believers in Jesus?

Here are a few verses that I came across today that gave me peace. I pray that His Words will encourage you, as well.

Hebrews 13:5b- “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'”

Deuteronomy 31:6, 8- “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you… And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

I Chronicles 15:34, Psalms 107:1, Psalms 118:1, Psalms 136:1- “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”

Romans 8:31- “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Take heart, my friends. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you heart; be courageous. He has not forsaken us. He is still on His throne. God is for us!

“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
