I am not sure why it is so easy to believe a lie. Why are we so quick to fall for the lies whispered in our ears? We are quick to believe that God is only a good God to others, but we are not deserving of His goodness and blessings. Well, that’s actually true. We aren’t deserving… none of us are. BUT, it is only through Jesus that we can be justified, forgiven, cleansed, which then makes us deserving through HIM, not because of anything we have done. It’s not through our own works of righteousness. We can’t do enough to make ourselves deserving.

Throughout the next year or so, I will be posting about this concept- what are the lies we are falling for and what is the actual truth? Then we have to decide, do we continue to live under the chains of the lies, or do we trust God for the truth?
